Adaptable for both day and night. Good staying power. Scent is unfussy and sophisticated
GUCCI ENVY is pure sophistication bottled. It has a light, yet strangely allurig fragrance that is suitable for both light, carefree days and also long, dazzling nights.
The bottle just about speaks for itself. The long, rectangular bottle is classic and unfussy. The perfume is a rich gold colour - shining through the glass bottle. It instantly spoke volumes about the style of the perfume. Not too fussy, delicate, but very sophisticated. My kind of perfume!!
What is perhaps most alluring about the scent is its versatility. Some perfumes are much too heavy for day wear, where as others are too flimsy and light for the evening. GUCCI ENVY is very adaptable, sitting somewhere in between the light and heavy catergories. I found that, unlike some perfumes, it had great staying power and could be worn all day and still be evident on your skin. Its staying power also gives it that little extra lift needed for evening wear - a little more visible than other perfumes I have tried.
Like many scents these days, the perfume can now be accompanied by a body lotion. This is, again, a lovely accompaniment that adds an extra lift to the scent.

so chic it hurts
I have had the same bottle of this for about two years as i only wear it on evenings out. I bought this in selfridges for £35 for 100ml (two years ago). The scent has remained unchanged though so it was worth buying a larger bottle. You can also buy body lotion etc to match.
The bottle is the same as the picture above, classy, thin, and smooth (like me!!!). It is however really heavy so you wouldn;t want to keep it in your handbag! The lid also tends to get scratched easily. The pump works easily and a nice amount of perfume is released each squirt. You need one squirt for wrists and one for neck! The perfume itself is a quite diasappointing colour in the bottle (lime greeny/yellow). It seems a bit old fashioned colour against all the pinks and blues now although it doesn`t colour your skin!
As with all scents this reminds me of less happy times and i cannot wear it now so i just get it out when i forget this!! The scent is quite heavy so i can only wear it on evenings out anyway. It is hard to describe smells in words but this is quite lemony mixed with washing up liquid! (it is nice honest!) It is not a warm smell and makes you feel invigorated rather than cosy. Maybe i`m showing my age but i feel i want a homely, warm scent now! (like romance etc).
When i first bought this i was really enthusiastic about it but now new nicer perfumes have been released and this has taken the back shelf in my cabinet!
One squirt lasts for hours and hours which is great.
This scent is for twenty/thirty odds as it seems too heavy for teens.

The fragrance itself, and reletevely unknown, so you can be different
There are perfumes that turn heads and there are perfumes that TURN heads and this is one of them. My male and female friends love it, including my mother, whom I even bought a bottle for for Xmas.
The fragrance is fantastic and unlike other perfumes it doesnt react with my sensitive skin which is a big plus point.
The only sad thing is after about 8hours of wearing it, it becomes a faint smell. And at £52 for 100ml`s you tend to have to refesh by the end of the day.
It stands out from other perfumes, by the way it doesnt smell of `plastic` as my mother so firmly put it!
Ive found a bargain in `the perfume store` and was able to buy the 100mls for £37, definately worth rushing out for!! Superdrug used to sell it at this price but when I last went into the Chester shop they didnt have any in the volume I wanted, so be prepared to shop around, as £15 saving is definetly better then £3 worth of points on a boots card!!
A must for all females out there, a light refresing and potent smell that doesnt suffocate anyone who passes!!
