Smells great, great value
I bought this perfume a few months ago after a friend recommended it to me. Paul Smith Extreme cost me around £15 which is pretty cheap for a perfume as nice as this. Nowadays I have seen it in sales for as little as £10.
The bottle is quite small and is square which the signature Paul Smith stripes down the side, making it attractive but not the most extravagant I have ever seen. It`s very easy to spray as well, just take off the top and spray.
In terms of smell Paul Smith Extreme is rather pleasant. If I could sum it in one word I would say `spice`. It`s not one of these `fresh` smells. It is rather distinctive and I haven`t come across any like it.
Paul Smith Extreme always comes up in best perfume lists and it is for a reasons. It smells great, distinctive, lasts a long time, and number one is great value. It`s not like other perfumes which cost £30 a shot. Overall, just check it out at your favourite perfume counter and believe me, you`re bound to like it.

Affordable, Good value for money, smells good! Bottle looks nice, Desinger brand so good quality
I remember this fragrance as one of my old guy mates used to wear it. Its a really nice scent actually because its not too much. Sometimes aftershaves etc are too strong and therefore are just too much but i found that this scent is light and smells really good! Paul Smith isnt exactly the most expensive designer range either so its defintely an affordable price, espescially for students/younger people.
The Advantages- Its an affordable price, You get a lot for your money, Its smells good, The scent lasts for a good few hours, The bottle/packaging is quite stylish, Its a designer brand so you can expect good things from it!
The only disadvantage i feel is that its not nice enough for everybody to like. Its one of them scents which some people may like where as other may not!
Hopefully thats kinda helpfull!

Good Staying Power
My son recently celebrated his 15th birthday, a few of his friends gave him aftershave as gifts. He`s at that age now where grooming is a VERY big part of his daily routine!! One of the fragrances he received for his birthday was Paul Smith Extreme Eau De Toilette and because I like this one so much I have decided to write my views on this fragrance.
The Packaging
I liked this fragrance right from seeing the box, nothing fancy but very striking and eye-catching nevertheless. The box is covered in vertical bold coloured stripes in various shades of browns, oranges and yellows. When you take the bottle out of the box, again a very simple design but with a classy look about it. A rectangular shaped clear glass bottle with the sides decorated with the same vertical bold coloured stripes found on the box, with a screw glass lid and spray top.
A Bit About The Scent
First released in 2002 Paul Smith Extreme for Men is a bold, woody, spicy fragrance with hints of musk. The fragrance blends Bergamot, Rosemary, Nutmeg, Cardomon and Sandalwood, which are complimented by the floral scents of geranium and rosewood. Also blended in this fragrance are tonka beans, the black and wrinkly seed of the legume tree, which create scents of Vanilla, Almond, Cinnamon and Clove.
My Views
I find that when first applied to the face and pulse points, this fragrance can be a bit overpowering with a very strong musky scent, which is very masculine, but does catch my throat a bit. Even although it is very strong and overpowering at first, I still adore this scent, I find there is nothing feminine about this scent at all, giving a definite bold and manly aroma. Leaving the scent for about half an hour after applying, although still very prominent the scent is not overpowering anymore. I find it now even more pleasant with the definite musky, spicy notes being more prominent with a subtle hint of vanilla coming through giving a slight sweetness. By lunchtime, approximately 4 hours later, when my son got into the car, I was still very aware of the fragrance lingering, although not nearly as prominent, the spicy, slightly sweet aroma was still noticeable. By evening time at 5.00 pm when my son got in from school I received my usual kiss on the cheek and by now I would say it was definitely time to reapply the eau de toilette, so all in all I would rate this as having very good staying power.
Without a doubt a definite man`s fragrance, probably more for the younger generation. My son loves this one and it is his definite favourite. My husband however, whilst he does quite like the fragrance, would not wear this one himself, preferring lighter fragrances.
I would personally recommend this fragrance for evening wear (although my son does wear this to school!!) as I find it very classy and sophisticated with a head-turning scent. Many times have people commented on the lovely smell when my son has been wearing this eau de toilette, which in turn makes him feel very good about himself and makes me smile. It`s very hard seeing your babies growing up but at the same time it`s wonderful seeing them turn into young adults, taking a pride in their appearance and themselves, especially when other people comment on how good they look, it gives a warm feeling inside.
This Eau De Toilette can be purchased in 3 different sizes 30mls, 50mls and 100mls. Prices vary but are around about £13, £22 and £31 respectively.
Many thanks for reading.
