It Really is Hipnotic!!!
I Love my perfumes and i cant wait for the next new one to hit the shops, I rarely buy the same one twice i prefer to keep trying different ones. But This.... Well i`m on my 4th bottle now.
It has to be the most sensational smell i`ve ever come across and it`s very unique and distinctive once you`ve smelt it you`ll never fiorget it and it can`t be confused with any other perfume on the market today.
Its very deep smelling and you only need use a small amount to get a good scent. Its exellent value for money because the bottle seems to last a lot longer than others.
People who smell it on you will ask what your wearing if they don`t already know and its long lasting too so doesn`t wear off through the day. The name speaks for its self its very hipnotic indeed and has you wanting more from the first time the scent hits you.
It comes in a plump round shaped red bottle with a black lid that clicks into place so its not easily lost. It has a spray nozzle for easy application and it sprays just the right amout needed for the day/night out. The smell doesn`t change from the moment you spray it to having it on for a good few hours. I sometimes find with some perfumes that the scent weakens or looses it charchter after a couple of hour but definately not this one.
It reminds me of a childhood sweet or chewing gum although at the same time it has a tangy spicyness to it as well as being oriental and exotic too. Its definately addictive and anyone else i`ve spoke to about it has backed me up on that one. Its not a particular time off the day smell either you can wear it for all occassions but it for sure drives the men mad so first time date and you in!
Dior has definately pulled off a good one here lets hope its lasts in the shops the way it lasts in your wrists.

Sensual, heavy scent in an elegant bottle
I recently received a bottle of Poison as a gift. I am usually really fussy about choosing my own perfume, but this scent is truly divine. In the past I have worn CKOne, Diorella and Paloma Picasso and have never had any comments, but now I wear Poison daily I have received numerous positive comments.
To me, Poison conjures up images of souks in Morocco and incense-filled temples in the Far East. That may sound corny, but the heavy sandalwood notes combined with dark musk and bitter chocolate really do remind me of my travels in exotic faraway places. It is a very heavy, sensual scent - perfect for the evening and romantic nights out, but I think it can be worn during the daytime too. For those who have tried Paloma Picasso, I think it is very similar, but heavier.
The deep purple bottle is elegant and attractive - heart-shaped curved glass with a twisted, fluted top make it distinctive amongst the bottles of foundation and cotton wool! The only disadvantage I have found is that the scent fades after a few hours. If sprayed liberally the scent does last longer, but given the price it is tempting not to spray too liberally!

Lovely scent, makes you feel wonderful !
I first came across Hypnotic Poison whilst I was doing some research on fragrance advertising. I thought the advert was very poignant and I really could not relate to it. However, it did make me want to smell it and ever since then, my boyfriend`s life hasn`t been the same!
I try to mention it all the time as hints for him to buy it for me for Christmas, but so far, he hasn`t latched on!
The scent is just heaven. It has a vanilla - musk type scent that lasts for ages. I just feel amazing whenever I spray on a sample in the shops!
For those of you that don`t like the advert, don`t let that put you off! I personally don`t think the scent matches the image of the advert and if you were to do a blind test on it, you might just be as surprised as I was.
I would say its for women who like to feel sensuous. Not for the clubbers amongst us as it`s too feminine.
